Magnus as a Green School

Magnus has followed the Green School rating criteria as prescribed by Indian Green Building Council [IGBC].

  • The factors are as follows:
  • Energy efficient LED lighting
  • White reflective tiles on roof reducing heat ingress
  • 100% waste water treatment and low-flow water fixtures, urinals for water saving
  • Vegetation covering one-third of the school campus
  • Major areas of building designed to get natural light
  • Green Initiative

    • The school has taken significant steps to reduce its carbon footprint and contribute to a cleaner environment. This is a way of teaching our students the importance of taking little steps towards creating a better world. Few projects undertaken are:

  • Building a healthy environment
  • Generating awareness about earth day
